Urbanrace
was founded in 2003 and is a dynamic multisport event management
company. We provide sporting events and services which deliver
an innovative and quality product to the athlete. Our philosophy
is simple; we aim to create superior events, encourage participation
and apply best practice in safety management.
The urbanrace team are
all sporting enthusiasts and we believe multisport is the best
way to engage in an active and healthy lifestyle. Sport should
be fun and sociable and our aim is to provide great competitions
for everyone involved whether they are a novice or an experienced
athlete.
Event
Management
Our race portfolio currently
includes The Sussex Triathlon
and The Brighton Triathlon.
These races include a range of distances for different ability
levels.
The urbanrace
management team consists of experienced individuals who form the
core team on event days. The team work closely with site owners,
sponsors, authorities, national governing bodies and other interested
parties to create the events.
Our events
also rely on a large number of individuals who volunteer their
spare time to help our sport on race day. Wherever possible we
arrange joint ventures with local charitable organisations which
allows us to direct revenue from our races directly back into
the local communtiy. We also actively promote our events as a
tool for raising personal sponsorship by competitors and we have
links with Cancer Research amongst others.

Corporate
Partnership
Modern day event management
is not only expensive but logistically demanding. The urbanrace
team have many years combined experience as both athletes and
race organisers. We partner with large corporate organisations
to bring together our expertise and an organisation's promotional
requirements. This combination provides a unique opportunity for
a firm's corporate branding to be associated with one of the UK's
fastest growing sports.
