Shopping with Urbanrace is really easy. We have detailed below some information which should help you find your way around and complete your purchases. SETTING UP AN ACCOUNT You can open an account with us before you browse the shop as it does make things easier. This is because you can monitor your purchases online and manage your contact information via the website itself. Click on “Open an Account” on the left hand side of the website and enter the details requested. You can browse the store before setting up an account. In this case you would be able to enter your details to open an account before you complete the checkout process. CUSTOMER LOGIN Once you have set up an account you will be able to login to your own space on the urbanrace website by entering your e-mail address and your chosen password and click on the "Login" button on the left hand side of the website. Here you can check your order history, edit your personal information such as address or email etc. You can also review your wish list from previous visits to the site. BROWSING THE SHOP At the top left hand of the page is a list of store sections. If you click on these sections you will be able to then browse the section for individual products. If you click on the products you will be given a description of the product and its price etc. To buy the product you simply click on the "Add To Shopping Bag" button. The site will then show you a summary of what is in your shopping bag. You can then click on the store section again to browse some more. You can then click back on to the "Shopping Bag" button on the top right hand corner to review your chosen items. WISH LIST The wish list enables you to store products that you like but are not ready to buy yet. There is also a feature in the wish list that lets you email friends with product details you think they might like. USING THE SHOPPING BAG The shopping Bag is exactly what it says. It enables you to drop different items, including race entries, into a shopping bag. All the items in your shopping bag can then be paid for together at the checkout. When reviewing your shopping bag if you have the incorrect quantity or product you can simply start a fresh by clicking on the 'Empty Shopping Bag' button. CHECKOUT When you are ready to finish shopping, just click on the "Checkout" button on the top right hand corner of the website or click on "Checkout" at the bottom of your Shopping Bag. You will then be asked to choose your method of payment. The site defaults to the credit/debit card option. If you have a gift certificate you want to use, you will need to click on this option and enter the gift certificate number. Then click on the "Continue to Next Step" button. You will confirm your order details and be requested to agree to the terms and conditions. Then click on the "Submit Order" button. You will then see your order reference number and amount and will need to complete your credit card details and click on the "Send Payment" button. You will then see confirmation that your order has been received successfully and a summary of the order. You will also be sent an e-mail from Urbanrace to confirm that your order was received. We also believe in no nonsense online shopping and to this extent the price you see while browsing is the price you will pay. There will be no hidden postage charges lurking at the end of your shopping trip with us. HELP The help button at the top right hand of the page will lead you to this help page if at any stage you need some guidance on how to shop with us. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER CHECKOUT We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption. GIFT CERTIFICATES You can purchase a gift certificate for someone. You will need to click onto the "Gift Certificates" option on the left hand side of the website. You then just complete the details on the form and click on the "Purchase Gift Certificate Now" button at the bottom of the form. You will then see an overview of the details, who you are sending it to, the message and amount etc. Click on the button to continue to the next step. You will then be asked to confirm your order and agree to the terms and conditions. Then click on the "Submit Order" button. You will then see your order reference number and amount and will need to complete your payment details and then click on the "Send Payment" button. The gift certificate details will then be e-mailed to the person you chose to purchase it for. Once they receive their gift certificate details which includes the message you entered, they will be able to purchase from the Urbanrace shop by entering the gift certificate number instead of a card payment.
